About This Activity
Take your students on an unforgettable journey along the Victorian coastline where they'll discover the incredible biodiversity of Australia's rock pools. Led by marine biologists, students will identify invertebrates, observe predator-prey relationships, and learn about coastal ecosystems firsthand. This hands-on excursion aligns with the Australian Curriculum for Science across multiple year levels. Students will use real scientific equipment including hand lenses, identification charts, and data collection tools. Each group is led by a qualified marine educator with current Working with Children checks and marine biology qualifications.
